NBA cancels first two weeks of the regular season

After days of negotiations and countless hours, the NBA and the players union have failed to come up with a new CBA, thus the result so far is the cancellation of the first two weeks of the season.  It remains to be seen if the rest of the season will be saved or not.  No further meetings are scheduled at this time.
