Halladay

Roy Halladay made one mistake Saturday night but was otherwise masterful. The ace right hander allowed an early three run homer to Cardinals outfielder Lance Berkman. It was lights out for St. Louis hitters after that. On the other side of the ledger it was Kyle Lohse shutting down the Phillies offense until the late innings when Ryan Howard and Raul Ibanez went deep in a five run sixth inning. The final score when the last out was recorded. Phillies 11 Cardinals 6. Game two on Sunday will see Cardinals ace righty Chris Carpenter against Cliff Lee.
