Ryan Mathews put the Chargers on his back Sunday as the team improved to 4-1 on the season. In what looked to be an easy win in the second half, San Diego had to hold off a late comeback attempt by Tim Tebow. The fans got what they wanted in Denver and nearly got a miraculous come from behind win as well, but the final pass of the game from near the 40 yard line came up short in the end zone as time expired and the Chargers held on. The final score was Chargers 29 Denver 24
